Back to Normal... Maybe Well, things are getting back to normal for me. I heard good news about my grandmother so I can rest easy on that account. The semester is racing towards the close and soon I will be at home for two glorious weeks and I'll get to dote over my new neice (at least it's supposed to be a girl). Well, checking out newsgroups I found out that the walk out is indeed still happening. Here is the latest posting.

20 MINUTES FOR PEACE
In observance of a Day of Action in which campuses nation-wide will hold anti-war protests and vigils for peace, People Opposing War asks the faculty and students of "elitist college in rural New England" who oppose the impeding war with Iraq to walk out of class and join together for 20 Minutes For Peace. It will be a simple way to show your support for the international peace movement that is growing daily.
When: Wednesday, November 20; 2:15 pm- 2:35 pm
Where: *central campus location*
Why: To protest the US war on Iraq
What: Walk out of class, followed by a rally on *central campus location* with Music, posters, armbands, a student Speaker-- to show SOLIDARITY against the war with Iraq.
Please come, be heard, and sign a National Referendum for No War with Iraq.

I would just like to point out that we are not at war with Iraq yet, so maybe the organizers would like to change the "Why" to something like "To protest possible US war with Iraq." We do go to "elitist college in rural New England" you would think they know the difference.
