Corporations Thank You PETA! I'm sure Victoria's Secret is more than happy to have the publicity of this now. Their models stayed poised, the segment was filmed again, and the PETA people got even more attention brought to the show. Yup, they thank you.
It's kind of like when the head of our communications department on campus didn't get upset about a student protest that had a "tent city" (I think a city calls for more than 4 tents myself) and lots of signs depicting the college as a monster eating money. First of all, it didn't actually get any press attention beyond one or two local stories. Even if it had, as he put, "It makes it look something is happening on campus, like we're exciting." Vicky's just got a few hundred thousand dollars in advertising.
