Saddam = Crusher I've been thinking lately... with this whole Iraq thing going on, I wonder how many people actually know what the name "Saddam" means and how uncommon it is in the Arab world. The name Saddam literally means "crusher" in Arabic. Interesting, no? Apparently there aren't many male children named this name in the Arab world. So I guess it's no surprise it seems like fate/destiny that this man is the tryannical ruler that he is. Check out this and this and this and this.
