Good Morning Well, we survived the evening. A gentleman came up and gave me a ticket to last night's banquet for no apparent reason. He was quite sweet, and I got some great food. Anyway, wine, a couple of beers and less than 7 hours sleep from the two evenings before took their toll. Of course that didn't stop me from staying up late enough with the other Bitches and our adopted Bitch (Alum Bitch?) until after 3 AM only to be up at 6:45. Yay.
So there was a panel called "Sex in the City" that was about social issues. I thought it would be amusing to share because half of the students that were clapping were returning from an evening of drunken hookups. Anyway, there was lots of stuff on cloning (calls to ban it completely), biotech (good quotes I'll have to share, but I don't agree with much that he had to say), and then safe sex. The safe sex woman is another alum. She was quite interesting. Very intense, very pro-abstinence.
More later, I need to go talk about guns again.
