Not Good I can't imagine being her family right now.Police searching for a missing Modesto, California, woman told the woman's family that her husband was having an affair and had taken out a $250,000 life insurance policy on her, sources close to the family confirmed to CNN.This seems kind of odd. If this leads where one would assume, I'm just a little curious about how stupid this guy is. Haven't we learned anything from movies? Don't buy an insurance policy on your spouse right before you try to kill them. It's too obvious.
Laci Peterson, 27, was eight-months pregnant when she disappeared on December 24. The baby was due on February 10.
Modesto police showed family members a picture of her husband, Scott Peterson, with another woman with whom he was allegedly having the affair, the sources said. The photo was dated in mid-December, at a time when family members said Laci Peterson thought he was on a business trip.
Family spokeswoman Kim Peterson (no relation) told CNN the family would have no comment on the report, but said that family members did not recognize the woman in the photographs.
