I don't think of airports as a place to see people kiss anymore. It's even strange to watch movies like When Harry Met Sally because you can't go meet a person at the gate or drop them off there. It doesn't seem so romantic to meet a person at the airport anymore.
Although they may not realise it, people turn to the same side before planting a kiss on the lips, and twice as many people turn to the right.
