Although they may not realise it, people turn to the same side before planting a kiss on the lips, and twice as many people turn to the right.

To test the theory, Gunturkun secretly observed 124 kisses of couples in international airports in the United States, Germany and Turkey.
Okay, so the way he chose to research it is a little strange. I don't think of airports as a place to see people kiss anymore. It's even strange to watch movies like When Harry Met Sally because you can't go meet a person at the gate or drop them off there. It doesn't seem so romantic to meet a person at the airport anymore.
