I Don't Like This It sets a nasty precedent for other private schools. Being one that often disagrees with the administration, the fact that they tried to expel a student with a month left until graduation scares the hell out of me. I also know of some stuff not too far off from this (aimed at students, not profs) that started to happen here in the `80's and early `90's. Fortunately, a professor that I don't get along with so well defended the students. They weren't even speaking out against the administration, they were just being conservatives. The threat to those students was that they "threatened the dialogue of the community." PC-ism sucks.
