This Just Made Me Quite Angry More reasonable gun control fun! This brings up the exemption rules in place for law enforcement. I hate those damn laws. (Yes, I was a big fan of this proposed amendment. Too bad it isn't really in the works.) One gentleman that I know quite well is a chief of police nearby. Based on his observations working with gun laws on a state level, he argues that the only reason these "loopholes" exist is so that the law enforcement community will be happy to endorse the gun control legislation without feeling the sting themselves. The guys at the top speaking for the average cop on the street don't really give a damn, as long as their collections stay legal.
