I'll pretend I didn't see it.

Stupid freaking Boise State trying to prove something. What the hell do they think that they belong in a game like that? Hardly. Bah humbug.

Ravenwood has an excellent example of the Bloomberg strategy to ending crime.

My only Saddam post:

Saddam Hussein has FINALLY been executed for "crimes against humanity". But what exactly were those crimes?

I have a list:

* Being the source of those annoying "XXX hot amateur camel action!" spam e-mails. That stuff is only XX, at best.

* Deliberately refusing to cooperate with UN resolutions, thus giving the UN unwarranted credibility by acknowledging its existence.

* Saying what the crazy voices inside his head told him to without giving them proper credit - plagiarism is WRONG, people!

* Capitalizing the "i" in iPod.

* Attempting to acquire nuclear weapons without having poofy hair.

* Forcing all women to wear burkhas instead of just the ugly ones.

* Running over puppies with his Segway.

* Killing his political enemies and throwing them in mass graves in CLEAR violation of Iraq's recycling laws.

* Jar-Jar was originally Saddam's idea.

* As was the Star Wars Holiday Special.

Wow. Just wow.

I know most regular readers aren't the first ones in line to raise their hands when asked if anyone trusts the New York Times for fair and balanced reporting, but still wow.
...the editorial standards at the Times: an article is “as accurate as it could have been” even if the facts are completely wrong. Even if the original court record was never checked. Even if crucial interviews were translated by partisan activists. Even if those activists then use the resulting article for fundraising efforts. At the Times, none of that matters. None of that’s worthy of a correction, even after the article’s facts have been proven wrong.
Is it any wonder newspaper readership is dropping?

Happy Freakin' New Year

The main blog has already gone down twice in the first 10 hours of 2007. Once was at least an hour and a half. We'll see how long this other downtime lasts. Fun fun.
